Great and relaxing

Good location. A lot of dogs stayed in the hotel because of the fire works. My dog was very relaxed which was nice. Every year he has stress because of the fireworks. We could have breakfast in an area where the dogs were allowed. I appreciate it when hotels are accommodating this because not every dog can stay alone in the (strange) hotel room. The sauna was perfect! Beds very comfortable. We stayed in the Nature room, very nice room

The room was very warm. We couldn’t turn down the heating but there is a ventilator above the bed which made it ok the sleep. For me this is not negative but I can imagine people don’t like it when the room is very warm.

Wonderful

The breakfast was excellent, the whole hotel is very nice and offers a very friendly and cozy atmosphere.

The bed sheets were very warm but that is our personal preference. :-)

Met expectations, could do better

Location is very good. Comfort rooms meet basic room requirement. Bed linen and towels were clean.

The rooms were HOT. Lack of ale carte left no option for for dinner - we were vegetarians. Parking can be well managed. Was very busy and difficult for us to find parking

Facility - Gym, pool and sauna. A very helpful receptionist.

Cleanness, there was mold on the shower-head and faucet. It was pretty hot, a fan on the ceiling might be very nice.

Beautiful place but service could be improved

The property is much more beautiful than the photos show. It was so pleasant to walk around the grounds and look at the chickens, doves, and cockatiels in the aviaries outside. Despite being fully booked, it felt quiet, peaceful and private.

Communication around our stay was bad. We asked several questions ahead of time and the reply received only addressed one of the questions. We also requested late checkout. Upon arrival we were charged for this and told availability would let us stay until 14:00. This was important for us as we were working nearby and would only get back to the hotel to sleep at 06:00. The late checkout was not communicated to other staff and we were woken up 4 times by staff around 10:30, 12;00, 12:30 and 13:00, either by knocking, calling or housekeeping walking into our room (then slamming the door when they left). We slept poorly as a result and were annoyed. Providing a “do not disturb” door hanger would have partially helped prevent this. Most weirdly, there was shampoo and body lotion provided in the shower, but no shower gel / body wash, so we did not shower comfortably. Beautiful place but we left feeling a little bitter.

Stayed just for one night

Beautiful area, nice rooms. We were there for a short stay.

Couldnt connect the tv to internet in the room and so we werent able to use the tv. Had to use our small ipad we brought with us. Front desk wasnt really helpful when we called about this. They told us it just didnt work. Breakfast is too early, so we decided to eat somewhere else.

Breakfast was mediocre. No fresh juice, only egg and pork for toppings. Bread was not top quality.

If rooms receive a makeover I would consider returning.

Nice location and we enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly.

The room was old and not very clean. Dust was hanging from the ceiling and there was a foul smell in the room. Certainly time for a makeover.

Wonderful

Great hotel in the woods with nice area and facilities. We stayed only one night and would definitely stay longer next time. There are various options for breakfast available.

Take with you something to plug in the room to protect from mosquitos. It’s understandable that there are lots of them considering the location, but could be a game changer for a deep sleep :))

Pleasant hotel in the forest

Very nice location in the forest. Extensive breakfast buffet. Bicycles available for rent, which we used and enjoyed on the long bike trails along the road.

A wonderful find in the perfect location for a peaceful yet active holiday!

Great location - in the countryside but close enough to get to nearby towns and villages. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help with any queries. The reception area, restaurant, bar and rooms are all very modern and look to have been recently refurbished. The place had a really nice feel to it. The pool is lovely - big enough to swim lengths - and a nice way to cool off after a day out cycling. Plenty of bikes for hirer - including electric.

There were no bedside tables in our room - only a tiny stand with a light that would only fit your phone - no room for a glass, book, charging station etc. It didn’t seem the hotel were keen to service rooms each day and although we requested that ours was, often not much was done. Beds were loosely made but cushions and throw not put back on. Tea/coffee tray not tidied/cleaned or replenished. We were very lucky with the weather so did find our room rather warm, especially at night, with no air con. There were mosquitoes and we did get bitten as had to have the windows open to get air in. Air con would be useful or if not at least a ceiling fan. The menu in the restaurant was quite limited and during our five night stay didn’t change. Maybe could have done with a few more options or some daily specials. Food was pretty good and wines were nice and priced reasonably. Possibly make bikes 24hr hirer rather than per day or do discounted packages for longer hirer so you don’t feel like you have to use them for a whole day each time you hire them.

Location and territory are great, but rooms and coffee are not

Location aan the territory of the hotel are just fantastic. There is a lot if green and a swimming pool. Breakfast (except for coffee) was very good.

The double room was too dark. It was located in a very low for some reason and dark building with a very small window. The pillows were different and one of them was not usable - so small, high and hard it was. The sink had a broken part. The toilet paper hanger was broken. We paid 163 euro, which seemed to be too much for such a room. Coffee at the breakfast was not good, as it was from a coffee machine looking like being for an office building. You see such machine in hostels and cheap hotels.

nice location, but staff and food not great

location was nice - really felt like you were in the forest it has a heated pool, but only open until end september and for limited hours room was nice - with tea and nespresso making facilities

food in restaurant was over priced and of average quality. Restaurant staff not very well trained. Did not ask what type of wine we wanted and it was pretty awful (oxidised). Other staff were at also not particularly friendly or helpful. The room and bathroom could have been cleaner, and the bed was 2 singles with a very thin mattress which partly fell off teh based during the night
